   Employment assistance

Employment Assistance is a job finding service directed towards preparing individuals for and obtaining placement in competitive jobs of choice. Services include but are not limited to employment counseling, resume preparation, job search techniques, interview skill training,  job placement and labor market information, SSI and SSDI benefits counseling and job searching. We work with the participant to identify areas of vocational interest and establish an individualized plan to obtain and maintain employment in that area of interest. We educate and inform businesses in the community about our participants and other opportunities to work with people with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to build bridges and long lasting relationships between employers and individuals with developmental disabilities.
